FAQs

Have a question about CBD? Read our FAQ's

What's the best way to consume CBD?
Dropper bottles & capsules are the most common ways to take CBD as they are easy to consume, not messy & convenient. It really shouldn't matter whether it is consumed via a capsule or oil dropper, as long as you get the correct dosage.

elitemii CBD products contain the milligrams (mg) stated on our products. We  currently offer CBD in oil dropper bottles, capsules & massage oil...with more coming soon.

How much do I need daily?
Each person’s body if different therefore so all our endocannabinoid systems will respond differently. There is no solid scientific information that states how much CBD you should be taking at any one time.

Always start off with a small dose & work your way up to the desired effect. Please consider the factors below:

  • Your goal: What do I need it for? Relaxing? Healthy diet? Chronic pain?Anxiety? As an example, someone who suffers from chronic pain may consume alot more (eg 160mg) daily than someone who wants it to relax or consume it as part of their daily routine (eg 20/50mg).
  • Your height & weight: If you are bigger and/or taller than the average person, you may need more & vice versa.

If you have smoked cannabis in the past, you may feel like you need more than someone who hasn't.

We advise you do not go over the daily dosage recommendation of 200mg.

Will taking CBD help with my illness?
We are not able to give medical advice as our CBD products are sold as supplements to help support & maintain a healthy body and mind. It's always important to know what you are using CBD for, before trying it out, There is lots of reading material on the internet just type CBD for then your problem and you can start researching from there.

Also, you do not have to be ‘ill’ to use CBD. It can be used as part of your diet as it provides a source of essential nutrients, healthy fatty acids like Omega-3, & it’s organically grown too. CBD as a daily supplement is a great way to support your bodies Endocannabinoid system & keep it in balance so why not use it as a preventative!

Will CBD get me high?
No - you will not get high from CBD oil. This is because the cannabis plant is made up of two main components: CBD and THC. CBD is the non-psychoactive part whereas THC is the psychoactive. elitemii products have less than 0.2% THC so there will be no euphoria-like effects which means you can continue with your daily routine.

Is CBD legal?
We advise to check your local laws but in the UK, it is legal as long as the products contain less than 0.2% THC. Cannabidiol (CBD) though, is not considered a controlled substance in the UK, therefore it is legal.

When it comes to cannabis, however, it is still illegal to use it or possess it.

Will I fail a drugs test?
No as drug tests are looking for traces of THC which is the psychoactive cannabinoid that is illegal in the UK and our products contain less than 0.2% THC or zero and we stringently test our products and supply on request 3rd party certificates of analysis that show what is exactly in our products.
